Default automatic transmission

Hi. Please take my question seriously...

I might buy honda crv 2007 with Automatic gearbox
What will happen if I put it to R or P while i'm driving forward? Has honda made it so if you do stupid things like this noting will happen? I know in many modern cars nothing happens... I have ocd, obsessions. And I will for 100% see what happens if i put it to R or P in the next car i get. I just can't help myself... I really need to know if its harmless (like it is in my current car)

Let me get this right. You went through all the hassle of creating an account just to ask about something you are going to do anyway?

Talk about **** post.

Go do it and report back. Or don't. You do you.
