Hardrace Hardened Rubber Bushing Set Opinions
Hello guys!
First time on the forum. I just got a 90 Integra DA7. ZC SOHC non-VTEC auto trans. My first order of business is going to be the suspension, pretty much end of life and needs replacing. I was thinking of getting hardened rubber bushings instead of OEM, thinking they'd give more feel but not absolutely ruin the ride quality like polyurethane ones. However, cannot find much opinion on this at all, some saying it's the same as OEM and some saying the steering is much improved. Anyone here used this type of bushing that can give me any reviews on it? As well as anything else I should be aware of. Would appreciate it a lot, thanks :D
Oh and I'm looking at the Hardrace full kit.

The hardrace bushing would be slightly stiffer than oem but nothing crazy. The main advantage is that they would last longer than a urethane bushing and have a much better ride quality, but you would get as much feedback. It’s always a trade-off with these things. If it’s a street car that’s driven offer or you have bad roads where you live the hardened rubber would be your best bet.
And only tighten the bolts down once the car is resting back on its wheels. If you tighten them down with the suspension hanging, the rubber in the bushings will twist (preload) once you put the car down leading the premature wear

I replaced the front bushing in my 95 integra with the HR rubber bushings and completely restored the handling and got rid of the slop and a lot of clunking.
I got the whole kit but only replaced the bushings in the lower control arms and the compliance bushings.
Its hard to compare to oem because my bushing were completely fubar at 240k miles, but it drove great afterwards, night and day difference and quiet
