I picked up a 92 vx a few weeks ago AMD I am now troubleshooting the cruise control system.
I'm not sure if this unit is OEM or aftermarket(I assume aftermarket).
I have a brown colored wire with an insert-type connector that is just dangling around the under-dash fuse panel area. I think they wire may just need to be plugged into the fuse panel somewhere but I'm not sure where.
I'll attach some pictures of the control unit under the hood, the switch on the column, and the hanging wire.
Any help is appreciated in advance.

Bump. I had this same cruise on my 91 wagon. Someone has to be familiar....I hope...

 

I recognize it as the one my friend put on his '82 Accord - back in the late 80s or early 90s. But I have no idea how to help.

 

I found installation guide for Rostra cc kits and it appears the brown wire is the accessory power and just needs to be plugged into a fuse slot with 12v.
I doubt many other people will run into this exact scenario but that's what I found in case it helps anyone.

 

Turns out plugging in that brown wire didnt fix the cc. I shall troubleshoot further.
