I wanted to use OEM bearings on a JDM ITR rebuild. However, there are only two letters on the crank and no "marks' so bearing doesn't selection seem to be the same as in the Helm's manual. Please look at this picture of the crank and let me know how to decipher which bearings were used. The other side of the crank has no markings or stamps. Help please.


Markings for mains on the bottom of the block is CCCCB



all rods were marked 24 (only 3 shown)

Also download the factory service manual available everywhere on the internet. That will help you decipher the coding.


Being a ITR crank and rods, helms wont have the correct information, only reference the FSM when looking for info in GSR/ITR cranks, rods etc

 

Thank you very much. I have the helms, but it seems the crank markings on this crank are quite different than described.

I thought the Japanese factory service manual might have relevant information but I could not locate a scan of that online.

The factory bearing thicknesses and measuring will have to do.
