No power to fuel pump . I’ve checked everything
Hey guys I have 98 ek hatch with a b16a2 swap and recently I drive the car an hour away and an hour back home no problems at all ran like a beauty. Upon arriving home and letting the car sit for 2 days I went to go for a drive and the car fired up but cut off fuel supply after about 5 feet worth of my drive way. And now I have no power to the fuel pump.
things I have checked
-fuses
-put a new main relay in the car
-new fuel pump
- test light at the pump (no power)
- seen some people saying that it could be the ground on the thermostat housing so I checked it out and nope.
- power to the relay (coming from ignition)
- starting just now to chase the wires back from the pump connector through the car to look for a break or green wire
anything else I could check I have been told mixed things about an inertia switch being in the 98 hatches. If there is one where would it be ? And wouldn’t my car have not made it that hour drive home if it had been triggered ?
any and all info or new things to check I appreciate thanks.
