I registered this account awhile back and right after my 99 2.3L Vtec Accords transmission bit the dust. So I saw no need to use the account because I was nowhere near being able to financially afford fixing it. Fast forward to today and I'm in a way better place financially and I've set to fixing this car. To get to the point I've located a 2002 Accord coupe that I'm going to look at this afternoon. It's a lady that has absolutely ZERO knowledge of cars and I am unable to make sure it is even got the 2.3L in it but it's not far but back to point (Squirrel) if in fact it is the 2.3L automatic transmission is it going to bolt right up to my 99? Plug and played what I'm hoping for. Fab work not so much. So there it is my first tread EVER not just here. If anyone has done this and can offer some of those, "man, I wish someone would have told me about this before I jumped in" nuggets of much needed and much appreciated information, feel free to bestow said nuggets upon me. Thank y'all (you all lol) in advance for any bit and I have always trusted the overall consensus of this forum. Very welcoming, extremely knowledgeable and best of all so willing to help those out there that are not as knowledgeable, even the guy that knows he shouldn't have even TRIED to tackle that on his own guy.
