2002 Accord trunk won't close, gas door won't open

2002 Accord trunk won't close, gas door won't open
Need help. 02 Accord, I pulled interior trunk lid lever to open trunk and lever did not return to normal position as usual. When I tried to close the trunk the latch won't catch now.
also the gas door won't release when I push down on interior door release lever.
Did the cables break?
