i have a few questions and anyone who could help me would be great.
- i seen that one can use a wheel bearing removal toolkit to thread in the bearing using a cup mechanism. When its time for me to push in the bearing, how deep must i go?.. Would i be turning the tool til it stops turning all together? what if i push in too deep.. is there a way to extract it a bit back out.
- the rear seems easy. Would all i require is to remove the 4 threads from the hub and bearing assembly and just insert the new one and reattach the new assembly? any specific things i should be aware of.
A large impact gun is going to be your friend.
Bearing presses in until it stops. Don't forget the bearing is directional. The ABS encoder goes to the inside. Typically this is the rubber dust shield side. The metal shield goes out towards the brake rotor.
