OEM Muffler Install Troubles
Hi, so my old muffler cracked at a point, and a weld held it together for about a year and it ruptured, so I figured I'd replace it with a new one. I bought the 18300-gez-610 from Ron Ayer's motorsports and it appears identical to the original stock muffler for my 2013 honda ruckus. I took the original muffler off when I took it to an exhaust shop to be welded, and with relative ease was able to put it back on. However, with this brand new out of box muffler, I couldn't figure it out last weekend and had the help of 2 buddies today for about an hour and had no luck getting it even close. We took off the air intake, etc to try and give some more wiggle room and had no luck. Have tried to find a youtube video but they all seem to be for non OEM muffler installs. Basically, I've been getting my *** kicked and can't seem to figure it out, whether maybe the new one I received is just bent, or if I'm the one that's bent(haha). Any tips, tricks/ does anyone know if this is a common issue when replacing the muffler? Thanks for any advice you can give me, just feel like something's wrong with the muffler but it's probably me...
