Default 98 crv ac/heater drain tube?

I'm having an issue with losing coolant.
Flushed, changed hoses, changed the radiator.
The only thing I could find is that the drain tube coming from the passenger side fire wall is leaking a good bit. I was thinking maybe the heater core. Has anyone else had this problem before? Would the heater core cause it to leak?

Yes but running the AC will also cause a lot of water to drain from that tube. Are you getting water or coolant?

Water pumps like to leak and they are hard to spot.

Hi,
Well...The AC Evaporator, drain tube is not "leaking", it is doing it's job.

As was mentioned, other places that coolant can leak from, including the heater core!

I never noticed the drain leaking as much as it does now. That's the reason I asked. I've replaced most of the parts that could leak besides the heater core & water pump. Thinking about bypassing the heater core to see if it continues. If not I'm guess the next route would be a timing belt + water pump replacement.

Bypassing the heater core won't prove anything if you are running the AC. Stop running the AC and see if your AC drain stops dripping. Defrost still runs the AC. Best option would be to pull the AC clutch relay to ensure it can't run.

Kept the ac off for a few days and there was still a drip. I read somewhere that if the core leaks, it could also come through that tube. I have no clue if that's right, but I thought it would be worth a shot.

Yea, the reservoir is good. I continued to check on it for the last few weeks after reading about problems other Honda owners had. I didn't get that lucky lol

Hi,
Well if you are not losing coolant anymore, it has to be drainage from the Evap, right?

Maybe you fixed it?
