93 Accord ABS troubleshooting
Summary of the problem:
- I need to register this car after purchasing as a salvage. This means a brakes and lights inspection is needed. The ABS light comes on, so the car will not pass inspection.
- I'm getting a code 1-2 (ABS pump motor)
- I tried resetting the ABS light using different methods (fuse pull, accelerator presses in On position), but the light still comes on after 10-15 seconds of driving.
- I tried jumping the connectors under the ABS relay to listen for any humming from the pump. No hum.
- I checked to make sure the grounding wire was attached. Confirmed.
- I checked to make sure there is brake fluid in the ABS pump reservoir. Confirmed. Same with master cylinder.
