Need Help! (Vtec >to> Non-Vtec) F22B1 to F22B2 94 Accord
Good afternoon everyone! HELLLLLPPPP!
I have a 1994 Honda Accord EX Wagon Automatic. I recently removed the F22B1 - long story (previous owner royally messed up the swap). So, I'm attempting to put the EX Wagon back to somewhat stock. I've purchased a donor LX vehicle (1994 Honda Accord LX Sedan Automatic - F22B2 NON-VTEC), and I've swapped over the engine (long block and distributor), transmission, engine harness, pcm, and tcm. Unfortunately, I'm not getting any spark. On the Vtec motor (F22B1) that came out of the wagon, the ignition wire (green/yellow stripe) went to the vtec solenoid. This engine and harness (F22B2) does not have a vtec solenoid obviously, so I'm wondering where the ignition wire (green/yellow wire) is supposed to go, thinking this is the reason I don't have any spark? Yes, I've checked to ensure the ground is connected under the thermostat housing. The entire engine/trans and engine harness of the F22B2 came out of the donor sedan as one unit. I thought it would be a simple plug and play, but I'm thinking the difference in the distributors (F22B1 with internal coil vs. F22B2 with external coil) relates to the difference the two are wired, specifically related to the ignition control module and ignition wire.
Any thoughts or ideas would be super helpful! I'm done with everything, just need to get spark!

Another note to add, the LX Sedan (the F22B2 that I took out and put in the EX Wagon) has a JHM VIN - meaning it was manufactured in Japan. The Wagon is a 1H- VIN U.S. car.
