2006 TSX ECU Swap To 07-08 ECU
I am trying to boost a 2006 Acura TSX. I have mostly everything for it including a hondata flash pro but was told that I would need the 07-08 ecu. I was hoping someone might know if I can use a AT ecu or if I can only use the MT ecu from the 07-08. Also if there is any wiring I would need and also heard that I would need to bring to a dealer to change out the ecu but also heard it’s plug and play. Really just looking to see if someone has anymore information on the best way to change it
1st q:Can you use a AT 07-08 ecu on a manual 06 TSX?
2nd q: would it be plug and play or do I need dealer help?
if anyone has any feed back or advice please let me know it would help a lot.

Auto PCMs for the 07-08 will work with a manual but you will lose the reverse lockout function.
The newer PCM is a direct plug in and go. However you will need to add a harness to get CAN bus network out to the OBD port. Honda sells this harness and the instructions.
You will need to program your immobilizer to the replacement PCM you find. A locksmith can do this or Honda or an independent shop. Really anyone with the proper scan tool.

Thank you for the reply! Helps a lot with an idea of what I need. I looked for the harness to get the CAN network but cannot find it. Could you share a link if you could it would be very helpful. Again thank you for the reply it really does help a lot!

It is the CAN adapter harness they speak of. The install instructions are linked in the product description.

Very cool but OP specifically said TSX and not TL. This is the TSX sub.
Do you have any marketing material or website for me to reference later? I am sure I can come up with a need for your service in the future.
Oh, missed the URL earlier.
