Default Dipstick showing above full mark even I only poured 3.3 liters

Hi
hope everyone is doing well. My car civic 2000 with D15Z6 engine which has a capacity of 3.3 liter with oil filter change. I poured exactly 3.3 liters but the dipstick shows higher as you can see in the picture. Can someone confirm the length lf their dipstick? And is the dipstick different for different D Series Engine?

Also suggest should I follow the capacity or the dipstick?

Thanks

That is about how much will be consumed by the oil filter. Start it and run it for 60 seconds then check the level again.

Let the oil settle for a few hours or over night then check it, if its still too high drain a little till the oil is right under the top hole. In the middle is acceptable but i like to keep it right at the top hole.

This is level after driving almost 10 kms and the car was sitting maybe for 2 nights so the level should be correct. @Ryanthegreat1 @wunfstgsr

Are you parked on level ground? Even a slight incline will show a drastic change on the stick.

100% level ground
Also I have seen videos on YouTube they usually pour less to get it on right level.
