03 accord passenger side c/v axle
Got a problem. After searching a few YouTube videos I still can't come up with a good answer. For some reason all the vids show the axle going directly to the trans while mine goes into an intermediate shaft like older models. Is there a set screw or something thing holding axle and intermediate shaft together that I need to take off before getting them apart? I've got a stuck an axle that's stuck and I can't figure out why.
Hi!
On this generation of Accords, the passenger CV axle has an intermediate shaft while the driver side has the CV axle entering right into the box. In my experience, there is no bolt holding the two together only pressure. I would recommend renting/using a prying fork to separate the intermediate shaft and CV axle while spraying the area with PB Blaster or WD-40 to help knock out some of the rust.
Hope this helps!
