I'm having a difficult time diagnosing why I have a no start. I swapped out a bad b20 from my 99 hatch with a b18b from a running 97? civic coupe. If I use the obd2b harness from the b20 engine fuel pump primes but still no start. If I use the obd2a harness the fuel pump doesn't prime and no spark. I have the obd2a p75 ecm from the 97 civic and I have a obd1 p75 ecm and an adaptor harness. I get the same results with either computer. The main relay is good and all grounds and fuses are good. I'm thinking I have a wiring issue because the computer doesn't see any rpms so its giving me no spark and no ground signal at FLR on the ecm for the fuel pump. Is there a distributor diagram for me to check the wiring? Also does the crank sensor on the front of the engine on the b18 need to be hooked up or does it get the signal from the distributor?


edit: just read that I cant use the obd2a civic harness in my ek. Im going to swap the obd2b harness from the b20 back in and rediag why im not getting spark
