Icon3 I need some help.

Hi,

I have a long time following this page without became a member and I have some doubts about a few things that I hope that you guys can help me out.

I have a EJ8 1999 EX COUPE (Automatic) and I wanna know if its worth it to add a Cold Air Intake, Exhaust Catback and Header with the car being auto.

or

¿Would be better if I make the swap to Manual?

Also, I run a 16x7 wheels ¿It would be better go with 15''?

Bolt on modifications like CIA and Exhaust do little for the car if you can't tune it to the modifications. It tends to keep pretty much the same power just moves the power band up or down in the rpm range.

Smaller wheels will put the power to the ground easier. Changing wheel size from stock will affect both the speedometer accuracy as well as impact your fuel economy to some degree.

So you don't recommend me to have a new Header 4-2-1 with the car being auto ¿right?
About the wheels. I'm planning to get down to 15''s since a bought the car but I was basically restoring it. I think that on Xmas I will change it!

But thanks for being nice and help me out with my concerns.

You can do a 4-2-1 header, it looks nice. Just don't expect a whole lot of gains. Even with a tune, header, full exhaust and a quality true cold air intake you only see roughly 15 more HP on the single jingle motors.

But it does look nice. Exhaust can sound nice and the short ram or true cold air intake also makes the exhaust sound louder and nice during WOT. It's more bling bling and user driving enjoyment from sound/feel. But not much for power improvements.
