Hey all, just today I went to turn my ac on and it started making a loud screeching noise. I popped the hood to see where it was coming from and I realized something was producing a little bit of smoke. I went and turned the ac off and the screeching noise stopped as well as the smoke. I have a suspicion that the compressor is shot or the compressor clutch is shot. I just need a second opinion before I start throwing parts at it. Any advice is welcome, and I thank you in advance.
