Default Is it ok to change my Compressor wheel?

I want to put a bigger front wheel and housing on my turbo,
Can I just remove the old wheel and housing and put the new one on and be fine? Or is there something else needed to do this.
It's a t04e 50 front turbo and I'm changing it to a Gt30 front wheel and housing

Usually you will need a need compressor housing and the correct size back plate. Also i believe the turbine wheel shaft will be different from a t3 turbine wheel to a gt30 turbine wheel.
I dont see it working... Better bet would be to get a t3/t04e 60trim compressor wheel and compressor cover.

OK, I have the Compressor housing for the wheel I wanna put on as well, the back plate is the same size also.

If it fits will I have to balance back the turbo or it will be fine?

It would have to be balanced. Turbos spin at 80k+ rpm and balancing is very critical to function and reliability
