05, so the 3.5 V6?

Probably looking at Honda Pilot/Acura MDX parts to make that work. That is a very similar platform.

To get a manual transmission you are looking for a TL SH-AWD. Best of luck those are rare and expensive.

I actually looked at some and there are a lot that have been getting parted out of some ones in wrecks(images show no signs of damage on most listings) for about 500 so maybe there is hope

Could go to the 3.7 and the 6 speed auto with the SH-AWD system out of the 08-13 MDX. Then the whole drivetrain matches and the PCM would be mostly happy. Probably still be upset about no communication to VSA/ABS and a few other modules. Nothing a little CAN hacking can't fix. 305 hp is pretty healthy and the 6 speed auto is hard to argue with.

Well the current idea is disable VCM install a rear mounted turbo for the sleeper look in the engine bay and then lifting it and throwing on some more aggressive tires and of course AWD and manual tranny and really I would just manually control the current one and use pilot AWD parts but I worry about the current one blowing with 300+HP

It is the torque that kills transmissions. No idea what that limit is, not many people are putting the coals to a V6 auto tranny.

Going to a standalone ECU then? Not much support for tuning the factory V6 PCMs.

well the plan is to see if I can reprogram the ECU so I know what I need to do I should be able too though but I will install a vcm because that causes issues but that generation of van has tranny issues and I don't want to blow it while I am driving down a road and I want a manual and will be easier to just replace it with a manual

TL and Accord V6 both have some support from Hondata but be warned, they do not support engine swaps. You will be on your own to make it work correctly.

Same goes for Ktuner, some V6 support but nothing on the Odyssey PCM. Would be a swap in an Accord, TL, MDX PCM and then making it talk to the rest of your body.

V6 support is rather poor.
