Default Air Blower Vents Mode doesn't work. Motor is OK

Hi

Hope everyone is doing fine.
I just disassembled my climate control so I was looking to fix the vent mode control but couldn't find the solution. Problem is the first 2 modes: Front, Front and Feet works ok. But then after that feet only, defrost and feet, defrost only doesnt work and motor starts making tik tik tik noise. I rremoved the lever from the motor and tried each mode and motor works fine.
Now I want to see the doors inside as they seems to stuck but I have no idea how to access them without removing evaportator?
Anyone knows Please help me
Thanks

Hasan,

Getting to the blend doors in the climate control unit is a big job. I've always pulled the dash out. Before you go that far, you could try crawling under the dash and seeing if you can actuate the levers by hand. I have had the foam seals from inside the unit come apart and jam a door up before.

The climate adjuster motor needs to be put in correctly. If you install it with the gear in an advanced position, it will not work correctly. You should be able to observe this looking at the air box from the drivers side. On an EG it's held on by like 2 or 3 screws.
