No start 2004 Honda Accord ex v6
Hopefully someone can help!!!!!!! I recently bought a new battery b/c my car decided it didn’t want to start. I purchased the battery because the old one was tested and it was no good. Well since then, same day of the new battery purchase I drove less than a mile and, turned the car off and was unable to turn it back on w/o it having to be jumped.. this problem continued the same day and next. I took the car (after having to jump it) to advance and auto zone. Battery tested good and alternator so what could it be please help!!!
I don’t get any sounds unless I jump the battery. I just replaced starter yesterday and alternator today & new battery July 30th and same thing once I jump the battery left it run for a while this time I turned on my headlights and cut off. Earlier in July it flooded in my neighborhood where the water reached to 1/2 way of tires I drove it to higher ground to prevent flooding totally. Since then I drove 5 hours to Philly and back to Va 🤷🏽♀️
You replaced the battery, starter and alternator but no change? When you run the engine, it doesn't charge the battery? Do you have a multimeter, do you see 13.8v while the alternator is running?
I'd say check the ground connection and clean battery terminals. Did you use any conductive paste when putting a new battery in? I've had issues where it did more harm than good and had to clean and wipe all connectors. Get a wire brush and do that.
