Anyone know what this silver box is called? It's under the dash on the passenger side behind the glove box. I know it controls the door ajar light and warning buzzer. Whats it called and what else does it control?

didn't seem to affect any lights other than the door ajar light on the dash. That was my initial problem. Door ajar light came on no matter how hard I slam the doors. Flickered when I hit bumps. Buddy told me to unplug the silver box and the issue went away.
I thought the door ajar was controlled by the ICU on the back of the under dash fuse box? They like to leak all the electrolytes out of the capacitors and eat the traces on the circuit board. Maybe Canada cars are different with the DRLs.
I'm thinking it's like a security feature box. It controlled the door ajar light on the dash for sure. And the seat belts don't lock anymore on a hard brake since I've unplugged it. I still don't know what it's called. I'm guessing it shorted out because of the door ajar issue. I was going to find one online and replace it if I could get a name for the device. I've tried "security feature box 1990 honda civic ef" and "door ajar box 1990 civic ef" and nothing comes up for those searches that look like whatever this silver box is.
