That is the coolant circuit for the FITV (Fast Idle Thermo Valve). In your photo, the hose on the left goes to the IACV (Idle Air Control Valve) mounted to the back of the intake manifold, and the hose on the right goes to either a male fitting on the thermostat housing/intake manifold OR to the upper radiator hose neck on the front right corner of the cylinder head.
If you live in a Southern part of the US, connecting this isn't really necessary. It is critical for colder/Northern climates.
