Default Window vent installation

So I've got my window vents and the fronts did not come with a "bump out" for the window guide. What have you all done in this situation? Can the guides be removed without damaging the door frame?

I removed them on both of my cars. No problems.

pry them off they fit between the rubber

I pushed it down and pulled out(thank you). Here are pics if anyone else needs them.
