mini-me swap or full engine swap with Del Sol and Civic EX
hey, new to the forum and had a question:
I've got a 1995 del sol s with a d15b7/auto trans and a 1994 civic coupe EX with a d16z6/manual trans, both of them burn oil so they need engine work. I want the Del Sol to be manual and have more power and I was wondering if it was better to swap both cars engines/trans or just swap the heads if that saves me time/effort of having to pull two engines and swap their transmissions. if this isn't the right place to ask my bad but thanks for any help in advance

Ummmm... not for me.
Thanks Tony.
OP, the SOHC shift linkage production problem is similar to the DOHC shift linkage as I stated above: The "Change Rod" is Disco'd and the "Stabilizer Rod" is still available. So you cannot buy a NEW OE Set for a Del Sol with a SOHC "D" series transmission.
thanks for the responses! I'll go with the full swap for the cars. I didn't realize I couldn't use the shift linkage from the 94 civic so I'll buy it from a part out I'm going to later in the week. Is there anything else I can't swap over to the del sol that'd I would have to buy?
