Hot weather no start
More description needed, Does it prime? Do you hear the master relay click? There are way too many possible just base on what you said, but I am sure it is a solder crack issue since it only happen when ambient is above 85F
The engine turns over so I can't hear whether any relays are clicking. Based on your response/questions and the response I got from JRCivic1 and some videos I've found on YouTube I believe it is probably the PGM-FI relay. I am old and do not do any work on cars anymore beyond washing them and I don't do too much of that. Over the next few days I will try and get this part replaced and then monitor progress. Thanks for the help.
I replaced the main relay and after close examination with a magnifying glass I couldn't see any problems with the solder joints on the old relay. I had to wait for some hot weather to test it. Over the last couple of weeks we've had some seriously hot and humid weather - insufferable. Del Sol started every time. Thanks for the help.
