I have a 99 AWD CR-V automatic I tow this 4 wheels down. just recently the transmission heated up while towing. I have changed and flushed the trans fluid first with Valvoline then honda fluid replaced The VSS speed sensor.
Problem is no speedometer, gear selector in park lights up park and reverse. Tryed to pull codes, gauge said no connection. The wiring to the sensors on the front of the trans looked crispy so i replaced some bad wire. The car starts fine and runs thru the gears except high gear that it does not go to. what do you thing ECM or has this seen its last days? Thanks
