Default 89 Civic wagon fuel issue

Ok so this just occured and I will try and be as clear as possible explaining.

My son has an 89 Civic wagon with a 93 Acura GSR 1.7 and YS1 swap ( we bought it this way 5 years ago)

So far it's been trouble free, this issue just popped up.
fuel tank developed a small leak due to something hitting it from underneath, inside of tank is pristine.

I drained tank removed field pump, cleaned and brazed hole (no more leak)
Reinstalled after testing for leak.
Filled half tank with fuel drove a bit took back to shop and parked, a few days later I drove again and topped off tank and drove some more, took back to shop and parked.
A few days later I called auto transport to have it shipped to Utah, I went out to shop and it won't start. It seems to not be getting fire to fuel pump or pump is dead.
I check all the fuses and the main relay all is good, main relay clicks when turning on ignition but fuel pump not responding. I also checked ground at thermostat.
We did not do swap and I assume ECU is out of a GSR, it does not have the red light that I read about , not that it's not on, it does have one on the unit that is visible.

Any suggestions as to where to go next? Replace pump?

Check and see if pump is getting power using a multimeter . It should be around 10 volts.

I'll check that, currently don't have my multimeter it's at Hill AFB Utah with my son.
I'll pick another up today, might actually buy a pump while I'm out as well (won't hurt to have a spare) The one in it now is the original 89 pump.
hoping it's not the ECU those are around $400 used.

Thanks

If the main relay is turning on, its not the ECU. The ECU is what turns the relay on.

Ok here's the scoop I can jump the fuel pump and it pumps, but while it's pumping I tried to start, it cranks but no start.
thinking I have a no spark issue possibly.
What are the common causes of no spark?
it had it a week ago when I drove it.
I have a 2000 crv and the distributor died like you turned off a switch.

Is there anything else that controls spark?

I guess I should test at a spark plug to see if it is not getting fire.

after checking the sparks and if they’re good, check and see if fuel is actually getting in to the intake.
Easy way is to disconnect the line with a banjo bolt that goes from the fuel filter into the TB/intake and prime the pump and look for fuel. Good luck

I disconnected the line going from the filter to the AEM fuel rail and it's pumping fuel.
Once it cools of a bit this evening or in the am I'll check spark.

Thanks

Ok this is where we are now,
not getting fuel but main relay is clicking. When I say it's clicking it only seem to be clicking one time ,no second or third click.

No fire/spark at plugs
No fuel / pump not coming on.

Main relay good even tried spare I have.

Wiring all looks good , grounds all good.

When you crank eng check eng never turns off.

Leaning more and more to ECU and possibly change out the distributor as well.

Any more ideas

As bad as I hate to do it it's going to be hauled to a shop that can test everything .

Probably going to find out it was something minor I'm sure 🙄.

I guess I'll get back to my Isuzu rodeo build now.
