Rear Camber adjustment
So the last time I had the wagon into the dealer, they said they couldnt adjust my rear camber because it was rusted tight and I am guessing they didn't want to play the game of fixing captured nuts. So its been a little off. Lately Ive noticed that the passenger rear tire is now wearing obscenely on the outer edge and its probably time to address this issue. Does anyone have suggestions for adjustable rear upper control arms to combat this etc? My car is NOT lowered nor do I ever have any intention of doing so, and the adjustable part is just for me to get even tire wear. I appreciate the input and dont mind spending a bit of money at this, just dont really want cheap junk I will be replacing in a year.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.
If the ride height is stock I would think the issue is a bent control arm. Rather than find something adjustable, I'd just replace it with an OE replacement part.
The camber is not adjustable on a stock Accord. You can buy an adjustable upper arm, or you can shim the stock one. Most ware of that kind is caused by toe-in adjustment, not camber. The adjusters the shop was talking about are for the rear toe and located on the lower control arms. You need to replace these.
Yeah Im a little disappointed in the need to do so. The other tires look fairly decent. I will get a replacement LCA for that side and maybe just get the adjustable for the top just incase.
