so i adjusted the rear camber with washers.....
and the right rear is straight but the left rear is still off, not as bad though.
now i have another problem.....the right rear tire rubs I had to use 4 washer to get the right rear straight. think i am going to knock it down to 3 tomorrow and hopefully it will not rub anymore. i dont think the car was ever sitting level either...
not sure the exact drop, its been a few years since we did it. here is the best before/after pic i have
&
any other suggestions besides adjustables??

Smaller wheels and tires. Something closer to oem spec.
Let me guess, 225/50/17?
A little negative camber doesn't hurt, if it leans a little bit you'll be fine.

How far off was the camber before? You really don't want the tires to be "straight" (0 camber), especially in the rear. What you're looking to do is simply to reduce excessively negative camber, which it does not appear you had a problem with. What I would mainly concern myself with is having a proper alignment performed.

Re: (Gonzob16)
tires are 205/40 17
we just took off the stock 14" steels/hubcaps because the camber beat the hell out of those and screwed up the tires, which was the reason we took these wheels off in the first place and put the stocks back on.
this is what the tires looked like when we took the wheels off, that didnt have that many miles on the either, maybe 20-25k
if u ask me, it was way off, heres a pic to kinda give you an idea of what it looked like before..oh and the fart bomb makes me want to shot myself when i drive the car, it was on there when we bought, just to lazy to go to muffler shop
and here is the left rear after the washer, which looks way better if you ask me..
im hoping if i taking a washer out of the right side it wont rub anymore, dont want to ruin these brand new tires. I didnt get an alignment when we got the tires(last weekend) b/c i wanted to try and fix the rears first.

Re: (ek forever guy)
its coming in due time. i dont think this car has had an alignment in about 2 years or so(we've had it for just under a year, sister owned it before us) the alignment feels fine though, even after the drop. doesnt pull or anything but i planned on getting it done in the next couple of weeks. i know when i dropped my T/A it needed an alignment(still does) because it started to pull.
correct if im wrong but they dont do anything to the rear of the car for the alignment right?? i just wanted to sorta get the rear end straight before i got an alignment then screwed it up by messing with it.

thats your problem...when you lower the car you get it ALIGNED right away.
its the toe eating away your tires. I have camber much much worst then yours cause my car is slammed and its been a year and my tire still havent worn out that bad. i cant even notice it.
get car aligned youll be golden.

Yeah dude, go for a 4 and 1/2 inch drop. If you're not scraping your exhaust when driving on flat ground, you're not low enough!
Not.. That's a nice drop that works well for areas with speed bumps, pot holes, hills, etc..
