Fueltech ECU into EF Civic
Hello all. I have a 1990 Civic that has a d16y8 head on it and needs an ECU. I think I have settled on the FT450 from Fueltech as the ECU but now I have some wiring questions... My main question is "Is there a standard way to wire an ECU to the sensors and outputs?". The manual lists some of the default pins (IAT on white #7 for example) but leaves much of it up to the user. The second question is around the oil pressure switch. The Fueltech manual says the input is calibrated to their pressure switch. Is it critical to use that one or can I use the stock one and calibrate it?
I have been able to source almost all of the connectors new except for the IAC 3 pin as it seems to be unique to Honda and that one connector, I plan on just grabbing the shell from the junkyard as I have new pins already.
I imagine there will be many questions as to why do it this way. Let's see if I can get ahead of some of them:

I imagine there will be many questions as to why do it this way. Let's see if I can get ahead of some of them:
- Why not just find a P28 and use that? I have an irrational fear of eBay and the junkyards around here are not producing any.
- I really want to clean the wiring on the engine bay (you have all seen that ugly connector forest on the passenger side) and making a new harness allows me to do that without the splice/split loom mess that can happen by tucking the old harness
- Pops and Bangs, why not: https://www.fueltech.net/blogs/articles/new-update-4-5
