Default TPS voltage drop (D16y8)

Hey all, I have a 98 civic ex (D16y8) with a voltage drop (down to zero volts) on the TPS right at 2.0 volts. It then quickly regains voltage accordingly right after as I continue the sweep. I replaced the TPS as I figured that was the culprit, but the new one is doing the same thing.

The car stalls out during hard acceleration, but will pick back up if I release the throttle and ease back into it. It will nearly avoid the issue all together under easy loads. My troubleshooting led me to the TPS, but after replacing and seeing the same issue with the new TPS, I'm wondering where the problem might lie.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Ryan

It needs to be adjusted.

Thanks for the reply!

I'm not sure I understand why it needs to be adjusted. Regardless of where I position the sensor, (as it rotates) it will still have the voltage drop. The volt reading is still correct at idle and WOT - roughly .5 - 4.5. It just glitches right at 2.0 as the throttle is pressed.
