Asking anyone what is the red/blk wire at cigarette lighter wire harness? there is only 2 wires coming out from the lighter which is black and wht/blu. i know blk is ground and wht/blu is the +ve for the lighter. but i don't see the wht/blu in service manual cigarette lighter wire harness
The red/blk wire is the illumination (+) for the ashtray light bulb. When the headlight switch is turned on to either park or headlights, the dash and console lights are lit, including the ashtray light bulb.
