Default CKP Sensor.

So I've been having intermittent crank sensor issues. I have replaced both the sensor and the connector harness with new ones. After testing today I have good battery voltage, but from the blue pin to ground at the sensor connection I'm only getting 1.19 volts. Also checked the a7 pin out and I'm only getting 1.19 there as well. From my understanding it should be 5v. According to troubleshooting flowdown this leads to my ECU being the problem. So I'm about to go buy a new ECU to hopefully fix the problem. Is there anything else I should be checking? I did all the tests with the sensor unplugged and key in ON position but not running. I have an 01 EX manual. Do I need the exact same ECU or will any 7th gen work? Lastly do I need to do anything once I've hooked up the new one? (Other than immobilizer)I know this issue has been posted in other threads and I tried all I could find. Is there any other tests I can perform to make sure it's the ECU before I go buy another one? Thank you for any and all advice.

Maybe you should find a honda technician or do more research before you buy an ECU that doesn't fix the problem .
