Default Honda concerto for track.

Sorry if it's a wrong thread, or even a wrong forum haha. Sort of new to Honda, cars in general i guess. So I got this Honda concerto sedan. I've been thinking about hitting the track with it, not planning to brake any records or anything, just want it to be SOMEWHAT more competitive, if it's possible of course. The main problem is the front suspension, it's a Macpherson strut style. And I haven't really found any upgrades for it, no stiffer sway bars, no angle kits, no strut bars. Nothing except for some coilovers with no reviews , and a set of lowering springs. So, does anyone have any experience racing one of these? Or know someone that does? Is it even worth the hassle?

This car was only released in Japan and the UK. never heard of one before your post. 1988-1994
The car resembles an EF , with the years it was built and the specs listed on wikipedia you might be looking at EF / EG timespan.
Search the Honda UK forums online to see what might fit this car.

If you want to be competitive you need to read the rules for the class you would run in. What kind of modifications you can do are very much dependent on what is allowed in the class. You should also be able to figure out if the car can even be used, since its an import.

Off of the top of my head I cant really think of any class that car would be competitive in.

Also, why do you think its macpherson strut. Looks like it based on the civic/integra platform, which were definitely not macpherson strut. Although for some reason most of the honda community seems to think they have "struts" just because its a coil-over-shock design...

Why do i think that? Well cause i defenitly seen my car from the bottom. And i have replaced the springs with a lowering set. I wish i had a integra platform. With all the research i have done, looks like the front suspension is a rover type and the rear is honda EF.
