I bought a 1988 ed6 with 250000km's around 4 months ago and it's barely been used since I have this problem that ruins the driving experience. I've felt it ever since I bought it and it's like this jerking forward/back that happens one time when you're transitioning from engine braking to accelerating or letting go of the gas pedal and It's definitely worse in the lower gears. So I have to be really careful with the gas pedal and it's just not fun to drive.
Recently the driveshafts/tie rods seems to be giving up so I'm gonna replace them soon. Could it be the slack in the driveshafts that is causing this or something else?
