86 EV E-series engine timing belt help
Hey, folks. I'm back again.
I'm going to (maybe) change my friend's timing belt for him on his recently-bought 86 civic wagon. It has a 12-valve EV engine with a carb (and like 35 vacuum lines... ugh).
The harmonic balancer (crank pulley) doesn't seem to have the cutout that modern ones do for a counterhold tool for tightening the HB. Does anyone know the right way to do this?
Also, clearances are pretty small here. Am I going to need to pull an engine mount?
Cheers!

The Crank pulley (harmonic balancer) bolt only has to get torqued to 83 ft-lbs. I used a pair of vise grips to hold the old serpentine belt onto the pulley, and it wedged itself and let me torque it all the way. I sort of made a strap wrench out of the old belt.
All done! Just an FYI for whoever else might need to know.
