Driver side blade length? 28" or 26"
I Just purchased 26" wiper (which I have used in the past) and the end of blade doesn't contact windshield. Confused.

Interesting. I just bought a 2007 Honda Civic EX and here is a link that shows different wiper sizes for different year Honda civics

28" driver and 24" passenger. I'm going to measure mine tomorrow to verify.

Oh wait. It seems like the coupe and sedan take different sizes. Coupe is 28/24 and Sedans 26/22.

 

Remove the small plastic at the end that protects the end of the blade during shipping...

 

I have a sedan and the 26" blade does not contact the glass at its end. BTW, I'm using an ANCO 31-26 wiper.

Can you upload a picture? Maybe a bad part? If no contact, maybe it is a bent arm and you may want use a plier to bend it back.

(Sorry for the simple answer in the last comment, I did that accidentally when I bought a silicone one. You have to run it dry for like 3-5 min, and I ran for like 5 sec when I realized I left the caps on. That was the only time, my foolishness, when the blade did not lay on the glass perfectly.)

 



 

Hard to see, and don't be offended:Are you sure it is installed in the right direction? Did you hear the click when installed? Is it pulled in all the way?

I think I had these decades ago when I put in the other way. That did not click.

If you did not make a mistake, switch the two blades temporarily. Except the size, do they lay on the window?

 

Looks like beam style of wiper (floppy looking one) would lay flat versus the convention metal style you have on.
