Default 1989 Honda Civic SI new member alert

Greetings fellow honda-tech.com members.
How is life? I originally setup a username last March, but then Covid hit, and everyones life changed.

So now.... I am circling back around again with this... Just letting you know I am new here (following the guidelines/rules) and looking to mainly offset some extra items that I have left over when I owned a black 1989 Honda Civic Si, from when I lived in Florida.
*I also owned (before the Honda) a 1961 VW Bug (Ragtop). I needed something more dependable, because I was working part time and didn't know if the bug was going have issues or not, which it did sometimes... ended up selling the bug for $2500. Wish I still had it!
I figure it should go to someone that would need it/be able to use it, vs. throwing it out. I've kept items all this time, with the intent of selling it sooner than now... but it is what it is.

Honda History
Purchased a brand new1989 Honda Civic Si (black) in April 1989 for $10,900, after financing it was $13,800 for 5 years, ended up paying it (double and principal payments) off in 2.5 years, only making $5.78 an hour, so I think I ended up paying less than $12K total.
Had the windows tinted as dark as possible. Black on Black, looked great, and probably one of the reasons why the car was unfortunately broken into three different times.
1st break in, 1990 working night shift at work, 2am > drivers rear quarter panel glass shattered, and all of my "cassettes" were stolen.
Took a few days to get the window replaced and got me thinking it was time to upgrade the sound system, with a cd player and alarm system
Sony CD player, Clifford alarm system.

1990/91 I purchased MoMo Rims and high performance tires.

2nd break in 1991/92 bachelor party, strip club parking lot, same window broken, nothing stolen, alarm must have scared them away.

3rd break in November 1993 > after a party, parked in my driveway, drivers window broken, Sony 10 disc changer (full), rockford fosgate punch 250 amp with 2 x 12 cerwin vega subwoofers, stolen.
turned out the girl I was "seeing" had some shady friends that she owed money to, and she tipped them off that I had a stereo system, and she happened to spend the night and turned off my alarm system.
That was fun to figure out.

1994 hit a pothole (tried to get the city to pay for it > after they received my claim, the pot hole was filled and my claim was denied) which broke the passenger front rim (MoMo), which they didn't make any more, so the stock rims went back on.

Late spring/summer 1995 Had it repainted, which was after someone backend to the drivers door from a driveway, and they attempted to lie about doing it, but the position of the cars, and the white paint transfer basically called them out.
Cops wrote them a ticket, and I had to fight the insurance company for over a month to get money to pay for the damages. Between the time I was going to have it repainted, I was still driving it. I order brand new bumper skins, and other items.
One day driving to work, waiting to turn, an old guy clipped the back bumper. I was fully stopped. The guy stopped, looked drunk. I had a look at the car, and it damage the bumper skin I had planned to replace anyway... told the guy not to worry about it.
Insurance money (plus a little more) was enough to get the door replaced (with hinges) do some minor body work, to get it looking fresh again. Black metallic with very tiny red flakes.(stock color).

1998 I purchased some used Acura Integra rims, (same bolt pattern), which were the last rims on the car.
1999 Replaced fabric on drivers seat (worn out from getting in and out of the car), found in salvage yard ($20). Professional upholstery service ($100). Looked like it did before it got worn out. Put seat covers over it, to avoid it from happening again.
2000 Driving in traffic, was brake checked, slammed on breaks, and I barely tapped the car in front of me. No damage to the honda, not a scratch at all, but the car in front of me claimed I slammed into them. Five people in the car complaining I hit them so hard they needed to go to the hospital.
You could tell the damage on this car was aged, with really bad metal creases with rust, but they convinced the police officer, who requested paramedics, but they all denied it. I was sued, and luckily I had full coverage, where they scammed the insurance company for damages to the car, and medical bills.
I have photos, and its just ridiculous. There is absolutely not damage to the Honda. it was just a tap! Auto Insurance dropped me after that. Thank you scammers.

2003 June > T-boned after leaving an intersection by Ford F-150, and I was hit on the drivers door, while driving to work. I was not able to get out of the drivers door. Window was completely gone, front windshield destroyed. The car was Smashed it good, but I was not hurt.
Front axle was jacked up pretty bad too, and the car started (engine was good) but driving it was a problem. I was close to home, so I drove and parked it in the garage.
Insurance claimed the car was worth about $3800K and made the choice to completely total it, so they paid me, and purchased a brand new 2003 Acura TL. Had to Lemon Law the 2003 Acura TL because they could not fix electrical issues, where the airbag light kept coming on. Another story!

Before the insurance company took the car, I stripped it of all the extra parts I had put into it, anything that was not stock, and a few more.
I had purchased a different OEM center console, which I took back and put the stock one back in. *one of the items I am selling
The back seat floor mats, which look very good, and figured I might could use them> Normally these were an extra item, but the Si was considered "fully loaded" when I purchased it.
I had a spare passenger side mirror, and one for just parts (without the glass)
Purchased a copy of a shop manual, from ebay back in the early 90s. Was told it was original, but its a copy. I don't need it, so looking to sell that too.
Si replacement sticker that I purchased when the car was getting repainted, that I never put on the car. Its still never used > looking to sell that.
Purchased a replacement side marker light off ebay in the late 90s, and they sent me the wrong one, for a 1989 Civic wagon > looking to sell that
some other odds.. once I get permission, I will list everything... its really not much more if anything... original owners manual, jack/kit, etc....

Thanks for reading the story

I will be posting in the market place, just as soon as my account allows me to.
PEACE & MUCH RESPECT to all
Stay safe/healthy
