Honda civic 2014 spark plugs
Hi. I bought a used civic 2014. Previous owner changed to new iridium spark plugs.
manual says DENSO DXU22CHR-D11S. The owner istalled SXU22HC.
Probably need to change to new plugs. Just asking if someone knows maybe those are the same or fit as well. Thanks

I always use NGK spark plugs.
If I were you, I would not think on this ~$50 item and the 15 min job. He did or did not change them. Trust only yourself. When I was young and did not know, I did not change the plugs immediately when I bought a used car. Twice one broke (two different cars) and needed an engine overhaul... It was in Europe and my brother-in-law is a mechanic, so it only costs like $600 each, but that was cheap. Spend the $50 and have the piece of mind.
PS.: Also, I would advise a transmission flush at your Honda dealer (bit more expensive, but they have all the tools needed). You can do the coolant and brake (and power steering fluid exchange) flushes at home. Easy to get service manual for this car and just follow those. Transmission... now that you leave for the professionals. These flushes are also important, not just the oil changes.
