Default Civic 2004 spark plugs

hi,
i want to change the plags for my civic 2004 LX
in the manual they recommend:NGKZFR6f-11
but i found NGKZFR6f is it work ??
what is the difference!?
any help will be appreciate

Don't cheap out. Buy the recommended spark plugs. Either NGK: PZFR6F-11 or DENSO: PKJ20CR-M11.


Using the wrong plugs can cause problems. I've lost count with how many people used a different spark plug and had misfires because of it.

at what miles do you recommend changing the plugs?

what is your opinion on e3 spark plugs that i see advertised on spike tv?

It's recommended to do it at 110k miles, but it doesn't hurt to do it sooner. I think I replaced mine around 85k. I don't recall exactly when it was; it's been a while since I did it.

Seems like gimmickery, and I certainly wouldn't use them.

but the man in the shop told me
that they are the same:
PZFR6F-11 And PZFR6F i dont know if it is true!
do u have an idea?

Same as in both are double platinum, but not exactly the same. They have different stock numbers, and different gap sizes. Here...

It's your car. Roll the dice if you'd like, but be sure to let us know whether or not you have any problems afterwards. (let's hope you don't)

They might work just fine, I really don't know for sure, and I personally wouldn't even bother risking it.
