Default Wire Connector caught on Fire! Suggestions?

So I'm needing some serious electrical help!!! Hey guys i have a 1998 honda integra it has a ZC Dohc motor in it running nice I recently had an issue with my speed sensor and realised the connector was bad so I cut it off while awaiting arrival of the new one I orderd..I recently started up and realised there was smoke coming from the hood so I popped it open and saw that smoke was coming from the wires directly at the shock tower where the engine harness meets the the chassis harness so I switched off and from.theni haven't been able to start the car ...apparently the speed sensor wires I had cut was touching some metal causing some grounds or something that's what I'm assuming anyways .

Thats the black and yellow wire that was bunt off exposing the wires
