F20b swap on a 2002 accord
I recently bought a f20b manual swap doing it on an automatic shell everything is going good but I’m trying to find a plug and play Ecu should I use an ecu from a manual f22a1 or can I plug in the f20b ecu that I have into my harness to make it work? Also would the new ecu allow me to use my stock keys due to the immobiliser please help also it’s an ex sedan with bred the motor is from 98-2002 sir accord
You can find the required jumper harness on most of the ECU/tuning related websites like Phearable, Xenocron, HAmotorsports, etc. Lesser quality ones are also available on eBay.
Any chipped ECU will work as long as it has VTEC provisions. P28s are getting rare so if you order an ECU it will probably be a P28 equivalent. If you wish to retain ECU control of your IABs, you will need to get a P72 or P72 equivalent. You may consider ordering one from the above websites where you get your jumper harness because they do preventative maintenance on the ECU itself and will include a basemap. A basemap will allow you to start the vehicle and check for leaks before taking it to a professional tuner.

last question will my harness from the automatic plug into the plugs on the new engine obvi the transmission has less so they’ll be dangling etc but could use the old harness aslong as I go the chipped route with jumper?
Typically the best way to do it is to use your old engine harness and modify it to work with the new engine. Generally only a few wires/plugs need to be extended. You can just tape off the old automatic connectors and tie them out of the way somewhere, or you can cut them off if you're sure you'll never need them again.
Doing a full swap from f22a to f20b harness wise would my harness from the car plug into the new motor but obviously leaving the automatic transmission sensors from the harness unplugged
