Vibration at 65-75 mph
I purchased 2 new tires / front - after driving car started vibrating at high speeds.
- brought the car back and had it rebalanced.and aligned- car still vibrating.
- purchased the rear tires new, just in case- still vibrating.
- brought to a different tire shop and had all 4 new tires rebalanced - still vibration
- moved front wheels to rear and vibration not felt as much in steering but still on door and seat.
- tire shop replaced the 2 rear tires thinking they may be defective, but still vibration.
Any idea what would cause this? Since it didn’t happen before putting the new tires. Tires are Goodyear assurance. Rims don’t appear bent. (Vibration felt on door, floor, slightly on steering, etc)
any help would be appreciated.

One or two tire rims are bent. When they are put on the balance machine you will see them wobble, no excuse for the mechanic not to see this and tell you. Balanced tires don't help, you need new rims. The mechanic (not a honda mechanic) said the rims are made out of stamped steel and are flimsy. This makes the 3rd rim for this 2014 CRV. He said hitting a pot hole or scraping a curve while parking will do it. I've been driving for 50 years and never seen this on any other car. Rotating the tires to the back got rid of the vibration but will need new rims next time I rotate. PS. Bought the car almost new from a Honda dealer, is was a rental and had 15k miles. It had a slight vibration then till I had the tires rotated, then it got a lot worse. Apparently the bent rim was moved to the back before I bought it. Suck it up and buy a new rim and try not to his any pot holes.
