H23a vtec 01 prelude swap timing belt issue(s)
Hey quick question. I understand a loose timing belt walks towards the engine upon rotation, and a belt that’s too tight walks away from the engine. Well, when we put the belt on it automatically sits basically against the engine on both cam gears/water pump etc.
Would this still be considered because of a loose belt? I have a new auto tensioner in there, but Iam hearing they’re pretty bad and can cause issues right off the bat, so I have a KStuned manual tensioner ready to go to give that a shot.
Thanks!
