I am aware the posts title may sound like its been asked before but i have not been able to find any posts asking the exact question im after.

I have a civic with a d13b2 engine, i have fitted zzr1100 bike carbs and a ported d16 non vtec head, when swapping my head i noticed the head itself and rocket assembly are identical, the only difference being the port and valve sizes, when building the d16 head the rocker assembly was stuck so i actually reused the assembly from the d13 head and it fits and works perfect. now im wondering if i can swap a vtec rocket assembly into my head. the reason i dont want to just swap the head is because 1) price 2) i did alot of work porting the head on the car 3) i dont feel like taking the head off again.

i have looked online at the vtec and non vtec heads side by side and i can see no difference in the way it bolts up so i am wondering if i buy a d16 single cam head or just the rocker assembly and cam, can i bolt that onto my non vtec head??
also worth mentioning i know i wont have vtec my plan was to lock the vtec pins as people have done that before.

final thing, if this wont work just to give context the reason i want a vtec rocker assembly is because i cannot find any non vtec d16 cams, i contacted deltacams a month ago because i heard they do non vtec cams but they have not replied to my message. so if you know of ANY non vtec cams please link it to me below if not then i want the vtec rockers so i can run a more agressive cam, i dont care about the vtec.

if im wrong somewhere here I will eat humble pie anyday as im only 18 and fairly new to modding cars but PLEASE no stupid answers, discouraging mods on a d13, get a d16 swap etc, im aware of my engine and im having fun with it.
