04 civic dx, manual transmission, I have replaced so far (myself) valve cover gaskets, passenger/front motor mounts, both CV axles, ac compressor, upstream and downstream 02 sensors, ignition coils, spark plugs, car started "jerking" real hard when accelerating changed camshaft sensor problem solved, 2 days later car dies while driving, would not start after, only made loud whining noise, no ck engine light either, changed timing belt, water pump, put #1 piston at TDC, pulleys all aligned, tired starting, will not start, makes whining noise (I'm assuming the starter) and pulleys are moving, but wont start, throwing code P0118 (engine coolant temperature 1 circuit high) would this cause car not to start?

 

replace your camshaft sensor, ours went bad after 8 months... if bought to your local parts place, it may have come with lifetime warranty
