Hey guys. I have my head sent out for my 1983 civic 1.5l. I have been looking for performance stuff online. Can anyone recommend where to find an upgrade cam for this or anything else I could use? Thanks so much.

 

I'd say an engine swap and fuel injection. I don't think there's too much aftermarket support for the early gen Civics.

 

Hey Smackin, I am keeping the carb set up with original engine. Simple is the way to go for me. After fixing cars for almost 30 years, I like simple.

 

Anyone? I am specifically looking for headers.

 

I have a friend with an 83 Civic and an EK 1.8. He made his own headers using mandrel bends and a harbor freight welder. It turned out a lot better than I thought it would.
