2012 Honda accord V6 front end clunk/popping noise
Hi
I have 2012 honda accord V6 with 85k miles. I bought the car when it was 31k miles and since that time I have this clunk/popping noise on driver side when driving low speed on uneven surfaces.
The car was under warranty so the dealer changed the left struts assembly, sway bar links both sides, lower ball joints both sides, and rack and pinion later because of leak.
Two days ago, I felt the is a little noise in the steering when I quickly steer right and left when the car is stopping, and also I was able to feel that noise when steering right and left in the left tie rod, so I wanted to give it a try and change them in a hope that it will also solve the clunk issues. I changed both inner and outer tie rods oem, but the noise is still there....
what I should consider? anyone was able to find a solution or what was the problem?

Years ago, Honda issued a service bulletin regarding where high ambient temperatures cause the grease to redistribute to the bottom of the ball joint, resulting in a stick-slip knock.
Updated lower ball joints were made to address the specific problem.
If the lower ball joints were replaced, then it was recommended to replace both front knuckle assemblies.
See attached.

Ok... is it ok just to replace ball joint with oem ones, if the ball joints were replaced before by oem too without replacing the knuckles??
I know it is recommended to replace the knuckles too, but for financial reasons I want to replace the ball joints only, but is there any safety issues for doing that ?
